My son found SILVER and I found GOLD

The weather has been great and the schools are closed for the holidays that means hunt till you drop . My son Carson and I have been hunting many different schools over the past two days and today we had some great finds . Carson started it off with a +84 vdi on the M6 at 5 inches deep . It was a cool looking sterling pendent that looks like it might be from India . He was one happy hunter . Then about 30 minutes later I had a sweet +12 vdi on my MXT PRO at 3 inches , GOLD ! It is a 14K Asian pendent that weighs 3.6 grams . After that is was all clad , $10.99 for myself . Carson didn't find much .
Yesterday , Friday , I found a tiny silver soccer ball charm and two wheats , 1952D & 1956D . Carson found only clad , $3.98 . I found $15.16 in clad . We will be out again tomorrow and try for the good stuff again .

Oh man, those are great finds! Not just the fact that you managed to find something but the fact that they're really pretty too. So cool that you get to go around with your son and he's so into it. Can't deny that this is an exciting hobby

I guess we are luck here in the Bay Area . Almost all schools are open , only a few are locked up in bad areas .

Nice finds. Love the gold! Schools are accessible here however I am still sick with the flu....been down since December 22! I am jealous of you guys being able to go hunting, but am super happy for ya! If I read another post like this then imona say screw the flu and drink some thera flu and go out tomorrow!!!
