my spoon/fork and other finds

i tried to make better pictures to show the colour, my camera seems to have a lot of menu choices for white balance.
secondly, other finds, a paw-part, a horse shoe, a "feinzinn" tap from germany found in the woods near oldenburg (feinzinn=a bit like pewter?) and again something from my backyard, uptill now nobody can tell me what it is/was, so anyone?

I never liked that show Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman...

Anyway... that last find is really interesting... can you spell out the letters on each knob (?) and post it please in case I'm reading it wrong? It almost looks like random letters, as if numbers on a lock face.

i used the poster from dr quinn to show the spoon - part is really yellow and not the least like silver/pewter.

secondly the letters on the last item:
on the small knob: N A L I G U P E D O
on the bigger scale: N U G Y P A B E D I L O

i found it in my backyard between/under the roots of the tree's standing there, later i found a belgium coin at the same spot but that may be coincidence.

below the brass/copper knobs there are remains of 2 concentric metal cylinders, my first gues was a part to adjust something electrical?

so if anyone knows something i'm very interested!
