Stopped at a local park for an abbreviated hunt this afternoon.I had found a couple of silvers here in the past but not today.Ended up with a couple of bucks in older clad, an old house key and an aluminum disk which after an extreme amount of cleaning revealed itself to be an Alabama State Tax Commision, Luxury Tax Token. Pretty beat up but cool nonetheless.Anyone know the age of such an item?.....Thanks and best of luck.....Joe

These were made in large quantities in 1935 and were worth 1/10 of a cent to facilitate hcange in tax laws etc....now days they range from being worth .99 cents to $5.

I have found 3 of those also, did you find it in Alabama?
