My two cents...lightning CAN strike twice.

Another absolute charmer! I found this in the same general area and soil conditions as the flying eagle. These items must have been lost very close to the time they were minted. And...another note that may explain their condition...they both would have been directly underneath the curb.

What's even more gratifying is I know I went over this target at least three times in the last three weeks. It was close to an underground pipe or stake. Almost passed it up again but decided that the pipe was just crooked enough to warrant my interest. Helps to second guess yourself. And always re-cover areas you have covered...you will be surprised.

Timing was perfect, as I guarantee that the spot I pulled this from will be underneath a curb again by tomorrow evening.
