I have been rehunting my yard and barn lot for the past week. Yesterday I found the gold 1958 class ring and today my second 1959 Franklin. I have already located the daughter of the owner and handed over the ring to my brother who works at the local post office to relay to her then on to Colorado to the original owner. I sifted the ground in a pretty big circle where I found the ring but couldn't locate the stone or center metal piece. As you can tell by the pics my back and knees are a "little" sore...lol. (And I didn't take a pic of the "five" gallon bucket full of junk):tongue3:
I also found a 1938 Missouri chauffer's license but when I dumped my pouch I only had the pin...???

Happy Hunting!!!

Thanks. This yard has been good to me. This is actually my second Franklin of the same year in my yard. Found them about 40 yards apart. Years ago I found my first silver dollar here, a 1923 Peace. I'm praying to find it's twin as well...lol

very nice yard, better check it harder

It looks like a prairie dog town now. I fill my holes but my bulldog unfills them behind me...lol.

What a great bunch of finds...from your own yard! Cool.

Congrats on some nice finds. Silver and Gold from your own back yard is the way to go.

Nice finds!! Gotta love the ring and the Franklin. Those Franklin halves are beautiful coins.

Those are some awesome finds!

Excellent job retrieving the goodies.

Congratulations! Very nice and to think all this treasure was in your own back yard. You are a metal detector manufacturer poster child. You should let the manufacturer of your detector know about your recent find. Who knows they may feature your testimonial in an ad and you might just end up with some goodies from them in return.

You will never know if you don’t try.

Cheers and Congratulations Again
