Digging at my 1920's dump site and found an interesting mason jar lid. At least I think it's a mason jar lid. It has "Myers Patent" on it, as well as the number "3". It's very thick and has a hole in the middle. Unfortunately, it has multiple chips, but still a cool find for me. Never seen one before and I couldn't find one on eBay.
Any guesses as to how old this lid may be and why it has a hole in the middle? Any help would be appreciated.
