I went back out to a vacant lot I been hunting lately... the coins didn't come today cept one 1942 Wheat and lots of clad... I also got some artifacts...

Tootsie toy Tank (yes it has plastic)

Silver Thimble (silver I assume because it came out of the ground looking like that but has not markings)

Gillette Razor (I am guessing its one of the firs safety razors he made in 1904 it looks older than the ones I seen online
There are patient numbers on it and a Reissue Pat. Number of 17587 and a Pat NO3 number of 1815745 - 1858316) If anyone knows how to research Patient numbers let me know please. (oh the handle was found a few days before then I found the head today!) and its missing parts I bet.

Furniture Jewelry (thats what I call it)

Max Factor Make Up thingy (yeah I'm a guy)

Model A/T Valve Stem covers and Radiator cap

Brass Water Hose nozzles

And then there is the Mystery Box... I has a unbroken piece of glass in it nothing else I was hoping a few old coins but no such luck... the things on the sides are riveted on and when I shake it it sounds like something in there I'd even go as far to say it sound like a metalish rattle.
Any one have a guess on that?

Again thanks for looking... I really like bringing history back to life by posting the junk I find one here... Enjoy!

Do the round places one the ends open anyway? I think it might be some kind of compact. Lots of the ones i've dug the silver finish was mostly gone from the mirrior an it looked like a plain piece of glass.

The two seams a on the tubes are past the third rivet so maybe they do... I'm afraid if I mess with it too much it might fall apart... you right the glass fits perfect into the lid and the black stuff in on the lid as it is on the back of the glass... Oh on the back it says Majestic USA

I pulled on them and they came out... kinda surprised me that they would...

I've pulled alot of make-up cases from the ground over the years but nothing as detailed as this.... you are right it was lipstick on one side the other is a little bottle... I assume there was a brush inside the square part to used the liquid eye liner in the bottle... (or what ever was in there)
Mystery solved thanks guys... sadly nothing in them.... ( I was thinking some kind of stash not make-up for all you sarcastic people out there) LOL

Thanks again....

Durn wimmin been putting on all that warpaint for years!
Has a 1930-1940's look to it. Cool find, never seen a combined mirror/lipstick compact.
