Actually, the bird beak's curvature, and the beak's large size relative to the size of the bird's head, and the head having an angular top (unlike an eagle's head), makes it look more like a vulture than an eagle. The wings look more vulture-y too. Maybe it was intended to represent an eagle, but I think if so then they sure got the beak and head wrong. I've mentioned this because it might help you ID the magnifying-glass' manufacturer.
