Mystery vase

Hello everyone.
I need help identifying the maker and value of this vase. I bought it for $6 at the local Goodwill.
I have taken it to several antique dealers in hopes that they could help me but I've had no luck. I have been to antique shops and second-hand stores for many years but have never seen a vase with the unusual bottom this one has.

as I look at it I'm not sure that is the bottom.are there any makers marks anywhere,including,"inside".have you considered it is a pedistal for a crystal or glass object?A stretch for sure...if makers mark inside than likely
