I sometimes find these rocks in the gulch I live in while detecting for gold. Very strong signal. The larger ones will overload the detector from a foot away. The vdi number on my Fors Gold is from 44 to 47. I suspect arsenopyrite from the look and smell, but there is also a blue mineral in them that sets off my pinpointer. Getting quite a pile of them. Any ideas?
