N.O.W. Sterling jackknife case

I found this long ago, at my childhood home. Built in 1890. I think it is a National Organization of Women jacknife case..

Need pics of the whole thing. From what you show it doesn't look like a knife frame, there is no center pin for the backspring which pocket knives will have. I also doubt your NOW explanation, it is more likely just somebody's initials.

As an FYI N.O.W. was founded in 1966. Also, your item could have been a folding nail file.
