Here's a couple of more pictures I found. This year Gary had a cow tag, and I didn't draw one, so I went along on the hunt to help pack the critter out. He got a really big cow elk, at least a mile from the road, knee deep snow, up hill both ways. We cut the animal up into six pieces and made three trips each, and Gary went back the fourth time for the hide. Two old coots darn near died that day. Anyhow, these are pictures from that hunt, while we were still having fun.

This tree had fallen in the storm, that's Gary standing in the stump. I didn't have a tag, so was only carrying a camera, but these are the only two pictures taken during that trip.
