NASA software?????

I live down in the Cayman Islands and about a year ago there was a man thrown off the island for taking artifacts off of the island from ship wrecks. When the police arrested him they confiscated his laptop the found that he supposedly had mass information or software about NASA beeing able to take satellites and they where able to detect mineral deposits in the earth. Supposedly it was so good it could detect mineral deposits form ship wrecks. Can any one tell me if thay know anything about this kind of technology's?

There is one, but its for public use ( nasa world wind ) it can be downloaded. i have it and still learning it. it has a bunch of links that can be loaded. maybe he paid for the software on the nasa home page?
