Hello E1, I’m an avid agate hunter,ww2 history collector, metal detectorist and began to dabble into Native American in the process. I find tons of interesting rocks along the way which some are obvious and others are not as much.. trying to get my knowledge up on NA objects however, I find i still question myself

I found these items near the Mississippi junction from another highly traveled river just north of Minneapolis and was hoping someone could tell me what it is I found, and hopefully pictures are well enough to show some details

Anything helps thanks 🙏

unusual to say the least. I am inclined to say natural simply because it really serves no purpose to look they way it does. However, the very flat side does seem as if it could have been used as something. We all would have brought it home.

Thanks for the reply! It’s hard to decipher between man made or natural with all the interesting things nature can do, and to my untrained eye it appears the one rock could’ve been pecked a bit towards both ends on both sides, but the middle areas are more smoother, and the one other rock looked like a pair of bald eagle talons on top of a shoe shape 🤷🏽‍♂️

Off topic: Nature is incredible, i was shocked when I found this thing on the Mississippi but after my investigation it appears the rectangle and other diamond shape was a type of mineral that since eroded out of the harder rock, either way, gets your heart beating!View attachment image.webpimage.webpimage.webpView attachment

Get naked out in the snow and hold it high above your head and scream twinkle twinkle two toes three times real fast.
My attempt at humor.... i no...don't quit my day job...

That is one of the strangest looking rocks I've seen posted here.
