Hunted a little lake up in the Sierras where I found my first mercury dime last year. Nothing too exciting besides the naughty token and a couple of wheats, one is trashed and the other, which I managed to ding, is a 1917. The junk ring is a 14k "gold shell", a designation I haven't seen before. It sure had me going for a minute!

Other junk includes fishing weights, marble, a bilge plug, ammo and clad. The marble has a gold iridescence to it.

Cool looking lichen on the trees there.

Gold shell? Interesting as it sure looks good! I bet I've found a dozon of those heads/tails tokens over the years. Thanks for posting.
