Nazi Nickel?

I found this 2003 nickel with a swaztica on it. Any ideas of why someone would do this or is it common to find these? Is it worth just 5 cents?

Not wasted .

the nickel is still worth 5 cents.

Maybe a little more to a counter stamp collector.

or Swastika collector if there is such a person

There are several nazi, hitler etc collectors out there you could fetch a couple bucks for it on eBay

I wouldn't bury it, just find some punches and turn that Swastika into a square.

It could if that is what you want it to be.
as I said a Swastika (or that design if you prefer) is just a design.

However My guess whoever put it there is suggesting some connection between

Nazis, Jefferson & Monticello. Not sure if the year is connected also
but I say just someones idea of a cool thing to do

yea I'm aware of that . I just felt that was the way to phrase my response, in order to make the point,
if someone wants it to be Nazi's that is what it is, If someone wants it to be Boy Scouts,
that's what it is, & If someone wants it to be Eastern Asian or indian, well, then that is what it can be
