nazi pin

I am just getting around to post some of my stuff from last weekend.Most things are not real exciting but I did find a Nazi pin or maybe a knife emblem.I know the Hitler youth knifes had this little swastika emblem on both sides and at the end of the war alot of people just popped the swastika's off and kept using the knifes or other equipment that had swastika' s on them.I also found a 1940 50 phenning that is in pretty good shape. The oldest coin found was a 1862 1 phenning in fair shape.I did not have any 1 phennings that old so that was a real plus. Today it rained all day so I am gonna have my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. I have a good site right down the road that I have not hunted because there is no place to park but there is a bakery fairly close to there that I am gonna use for a parking lot .That will work out good for a bite to eat on the way home. It's a Hitler youth pin, same diamond design as this one.

Neat stuff! I found something in a creek while looking for indian artifacts awhile back and can't decide what to call it. It has a swastika on it and is also red an white. It has a date of 1934. I'll will try to get a good pic. of it and post it here for any advice on what it could be from. Thanks in advance.

Nice finds Bman! That is definitely a Hitler Youth cap badge pin, they come in three flavors of gold, silver and bronze. Does the reverse have any plating left? If not, it is probably a bronze badge. Too bad you are getting short, you seem to be really getting into tune with the fields and hunt! HH, Mike

Civilman1,I am Pcsing around the 1st of the year. Man, I am gonna miss the hunting here . I am going to North Dakota so I better get some more cold weather gear.LOL I am sure there are some good places to hunt there when the ground is not frozen. I was trying to get to Florida or Charleston but maybe next time.

Hey, I think that is the emblem that goes into a HJ (hitler youth) knife. Is there anything on the back of it? If you want I can post a pict of the knife.
