Sometimes I find Unakite in my creek but today I found a real nice piece at about a inch and a half long. Wondering if anyone else finds this type of stone in their area.

Very nice. I used to get some in Virginia once upon a time ago. Still have 1 huge piece.

I've read a little about it and I'm not near Madison county where there's supposed to be lots of it. Once in a while I'll find a piece when I'm hunting Native American artifacts in my creek, this was a nice surprise! What I like about it is the color really catches your eye when you see it. Might get this one tumbled and polished.
