Hit some nicely sloped hillside with good long-term washout on the surface and got a IH-wheatie type signal. Hit it with the probe and it appeared to pop right off with just a bit of surface dirt on it.
Mark (Watercolor) called me after we split the scene and reminded me to check for the "L" prior to my usual toasting of the coin. Thanks Mark! I'll try to leave this one untoasted.
