Nearly Skunked...

We scratched around for land today & after 3 hours 15 minutes, my only finds were a Jetton & Pistol Shot. Cru'dad had just 1 scrappy. Our worst day in as long as I care to remember...

If it wasn't for the tyre track King (Cru'Dad) doing just over 6 hours on the tyre tracks of a couple of Roman Sites, I would have very little to post. By not even swinging & just arm achingly holding the detector in front of him on the tracks he had 16 Roman Coins, Roman Ring Bezel & the circa 1800 King Dragoon Guards Button & bits...

Had a similar day on the "Random Field" yesterday. A bit roman pottery and roof tile in that corner of the field, but no success. At least you have one more field to cross off the list. Saves time for the better ones.

Until the last 5 minutes of the hunt the only find I had was a lead ball, so yes
