- Metal Detecting
Yesterday I noticed a small creek about half a mile from my home was dry and told myself, you are off from work tomorrow ( today ) and said, you need the exercise, plus it gave me a chance to look for fossils, arrowheads and maybe a place to metal detect later.
I followed the creek for several hundred yards and was looking at the ground most of the time and it is a good thing I was, I found a beautiful little golden orange colored arrowhead.
it is about an inch and half long and at the widest point it is three fourths of an inch wide. I have never seen an arrowhead this color or small, but it is fully intact.
My computer will not allow me to post any pics, so as soon as i buy a new comp in january, I will pst pics of it.
Thanks for looking and any info from the info I gave would be helpful.
