Got a bunch of stuff from this site that's mind boggling. Found a couple of pieces that i can't explain. Here's some pictures of what i believe to be jewelry from the 1600's. If you could flatten these pieces out what do you think they would look like? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the IHS is a Jesuit trade ring.

Regarding the twisted up pieces of metal, the larger one looks like a piece of a leaf rake, the part that holds the top of the tines... how random, eh? (Probably wrong), but it reminded me of this piece of a rake I used until this fell off:

Maybe they wore them on a necklace . Maybe they melted them to make stuff??? There are 2 pieces of twisted brass that catch my eye,what could they be?

Yes, that’s what I was referring to above. While the exact application may not be it, the hooked end looks like it could have been used to hold the band in place on a wooden long-handled tool (like a rake).
