Go to the Garrett website (garrett.com) they have a contest in the hobby division.
You send them a short story and a photo of your best find and once a month they
choose a winner and give away a Garrett Pro-Pointer. I sent in a story and was
amazed when I won the November 2009 Pro-Pointer. You don't have to write a long
story, just a few lines and a decent photo. Even if you don't win the first prize they
will send you a thank you gift like a hat, it don't hurt to try it.

I would imagine that this only applies if you use a GARRETT detector to find it?
That would make sense...
if not, count ME in..

That does make sense, I'm lucky I never said I was smart.

Thanks Dan. Got 2 pinpointers for Christmas so didn't need another. However, I was going to purchase a pneumatic framing nailer. They had 1 for $25.00 off and with the extra 20% coupon, got it for $59.99 plus tax. HH.

Just got 2 of the harbor freight pinpointers in the mail yesterday (1 for my mother & 1 as a backup) & I gotta say they aint all bad! Definitely worth the $20 I paid ($17 + shipping), great for a spare. They are very similar to the old Whites Bullseye pointers, have an led light & you can adjust sensitivity. Im very happy! :icon_thumleft:
