NEED ADVICE ON PRISM IV

I'm going to start MDing on property from 1800's. How good is the prism IV for finding deep silver and old coins?. SHould I start MD'ing or am I wasting my time? I feel like I need to buy a better MD if I want to find the GOOD STUFF !! IS the PRISM IV really any good? Thanks for taking time to answer me.

most old coins are in the 1 to 6 inch range. i would think that the prizm 4 should be able to get down to at least 4 or 5 inches. it may not find the super deep stuff, but it should work fine on average depth targets i would think. just remember to hunt slowly and overlap all of your swings. if it feels like you are just crawling along at a snails pace you are doing it right!
