Not new to detecting at all, been doing it for 40 years, but would like a recommendation on a new detector. I primarily hunt for new coins at schoolyards and parks, yes I like clad, lots of it. What's a really good detector for that kind of hunting? Is there a newer model out there that is great on shallow coins(up to 3-4") and at the same time cancels out the trash targets very well. Also, one that runs real stable(either silent or with a tone) and pinpoints with great accuracy? Looking for lightweight too and under $350. Thanks much. John

Tesoro Compadre.

Fisher F2 or Teknetics Eurotek Pro.

All of the previously mentioned machines are top notch for your budget. It all depends on whether you want a screen or not.
Happy hunting!
