Need for permits on Corp Lands now

Haven't seen this until yesterday but here it is. The Army Corp of Engineers are requiring detector permits on some of their lakes now. At least two of them in Arkansas that I know of. They are only good on that lake and have to get them on each lake you intend to detect, at least that is what they told me. I got busted is how I found out. I have detected their swim beaches many times and have even been to their offices before and ask and was told that I didn't need one on lots of them but this time I had to drive all the way back to their office and pick one up at least it didn't cost anything except the 10 mile trip. Oh well I new they wanted to control everything but damn. Have been having such good luck on their swim beaches too. If anyone needs any further info let me know.
