Need help, found what looks like a copper celt

A few months ago I found this with my metal detector, it was very deep, about 12 inches down. I live in North Central Indiana on the Tippecanoe River. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you, Rick

Mystery solved, I had a nice guy named Jon email me and said he believed it to be from the Late Archaic/Early Woodland time period about 4500 years ago. That to me is just awesome for the area that I live. Usually the oldest things I find are Native American artifacts. Thank you to Jon for helping me out.
