About 3-4 years ago I found a huge US Army Transportation School class ring in the water at a local beach. On the inside it has the owner's 3 initials followed by what appears to be the last 4 of their SSN. It's from the class of 2006, and the MOS is 88H (cargo specialist). This school was located at Ft Eustis, Va in 2006 when the soldier graduated, but has since been relocated to Ft Lee, Va. I put a post out on the Transportation School's Facebook page, but did not get any responses. I also called the school at Ft Lee and they could not help, telling me they only keep records for a few years before they're purged. And I even tried to find anyone from the Class of 2006 online, or a yearbook, but struck out on both accounts. I was hoping an active Army service member could help me with this. Can't believe it would be very hard to ID this person with all the info I have from the ring. But it would be much better for someone on the inside to look this person up as opposed to someone outside the Army, although I was an Army civilian for 34 years before retiring a few years ago. If you can provide any assistance whatsoever please drop me a PM and I'll provide more specifics about the ring. Thanks!
