Need help identifying a button

Had a great day hunting with wv1978 and bladerunner2019. Everybody scored multiple silvers including my second half dollar of the month. Found this button in the back yard of a 1830 home. Wv1978 dug a cw button or two in the same area. I can’t make out much of the writing on the back except for “and born”. It looks like it was gold plate.

You need to take a toothpick and see if you can clean around the letters. It looks like there is a letter after the N so i'm thinking its not Born but i could be wrong.

Looks to me like it may be from Benedict & Burnham, dating in the range of 1834-43, like the one here: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/w...utton-design-age-benedict-burnham-button.html
