Need HELP identifying Ambassador China set from Bavaria-Germany

I was given a set of china when my grandmother passed and can find nothing on it. The set says Ambassador Bavaria Germany with a giant gold M on what looks like the Rock of Gibraltar. The Ambassador name is in a golden banner underneath the Rock.

Please help... we have looked through many books and can't find anything
