Need help identifying Blue Ampule

Hi! I am looking for more information on this blue ampule. I believe the writing is Japanese. It is still sealed and contains liquid. Very curious as to what is in it.

Stink bomb?

I don't think that they are stink bombs. However, the reflection in the picture coupled with the lack of focus makes it tough for an old guy to determine.

The characters are Japanese katakana, which usually indicates the word in not Japanese but a "borrowed word" from another language and pronounced phonetically in Japanese. There are more borrowed words in Japanese than any other language. And they are not all borrowed English words...


I can see 4 characters. They look like BA - GU - NO - (N or SHI). Are there additional characters?
