Need help identifying bullet

Found this bullet (I think) in my moms yard this evening. Not 100% sure if it is a bullet. If so, anyone know its caliber size or age? Thanks for reading. Hope for some info!

I am guessing a .38 caliber wadcutter. Used to punch holes in paper targets. It would be hard to tell for sure without weighing it and measuring the diameter. I would say it was fired in the last fifty years. Could also be .357 magnum.

Yes it is a bullet. No idea on the caliber.
