Probably just a well worn river rock.

What differentiates her rock from many of those shown on the link I provided earlier?
You're link is broken and you have to remember it was found in a creek. Water can do amazing things to rocks.

it works for me, but just in case do a google (image) search for metate stones. Now, I am not saying it is or it isn't because there is no definitive way to argue either side.

I’d keep it but it’s just me. I have all sorts of weird rocks around Native and natural
