I had it send in and tested to see if it was meteorite. It came back as not being one. It is heavy for its size it weighs about 8 pounds. It was found in Missouri. I don’t know what it is and was hoping to see if someone knows. Here are a few pictures of the object.

It looks like hematite. Very possible with MO source.
