Hello everybody. Found these 2 tokens in 2 different parts of my city in Akron, Ohio. The funny thing is the Butchel,Ohio token was found on a lot on Butchel st. here in Akron, and the acorn token was found in a old fairgrounds that was in use from the late 1800 on East North st. Same street on the token but it's in Danville, Ill. Any help would be appreciated. Idahotokens you the man find me some information..Thanks. HH

check your local library in the county history for the names on your trade tokens, like the acorn one

This is likely info you've already found, but in case not;
I believe the proprietor of the Schenz store was Ignatius Schenz (1847-1916) who's name (first and last) had varied spellings, as was the case with many immigrants back then. This shows him with his family; (note name variations) Ingnatius Schentz family of Nelsonville and Buchtel,
I'd also seen his first name as Ignats, and Ignatz.
This site shows pictures (near middle of page) of the original store and subsequent larger store, and again with the spelling varieties; Schenz - Public Member Photos & Scanned Documents - Ancestry.com
Some local research (or subscription to one of the ancestry sites) may be needed to get further info. (like what years the store was in operation, when these tokens were used) which would surely be appreciated by token collectors!
I suspect the same problem may be the case with Stelle Maltzer, could be Stella Meltzer, Melzer, etc. Although Ellis Island might have changed their name, they might have used it differently where they could.
But as with all things, I could be wrong.

I find A.K. Schenz in this book:

[h=1]Names of corporations domestic, foreign and not for profit[/h] By Ohio. Secretary of State

From 1904.
