Picked up a 2006-P Nevada state quarter at the local gas station only because I check their change-rack and saw this silver looking rim. Thinking it was a older silver Washington, I asked to buy it, but to my suprise it's a 2006-p. the rim looks silver, with NO signs of copper clad. I thought that only the "s" was only made in silver, and this is a "p". DID THEY MAKE SILVER 2006-P quarters? Did not get around to gram weight, what should that be for silver vs clad? Maybe I'm lucky to snag a AG current coinage silver. Your thoughts on this ID appreciated.
Pics attached, rim shots next to a typical clad coin. HH & thanks in advance.

Sorry, but all you have is a coin that's been plated post mint.

From the pics, I can come up with two possibilities. Either the copper laminate center is thin, which happens when rolling the sheet metal to the proper thickness, or it has been plated post mint. I have examples of both and see both rather frequently. Higher resolution images that are better focused would help, but in either case the coin is worth 25 cents.

Sound test it, though if the cu laminate is thin it might still sound different.
