Need help on this Sharks tooth

The tooth appears to be neither Carcharodon nor Carcharocles. It does appear to be an anterior, upper tooth of a carcharinid, specifically, Carcharinus obscurus.

But, that's a guess without knowing any collection data on the tooth.

I understand that the color does not match that of fossil teeth in your area. However, color is a matter of local conditions of preservation, and is may be unreliable for diagnosis.

With that reservation, the only things I can say about age of the tooth is it that it is no older than the exposed sediments in the area, and may be much, much younger.

Could be a great white with some missing enamel in the V area, or could be an edge tooth of meg. Teeth on the edge or back of the mouth tend to get disproportionate sometimes. How fat is it?

This looks like a bull shark tooth. Just like the ones we find in Charleston.
