I could use some advice about this penny I found in a box. I’m not sure if it’s a cud or pmd. Also scored an 1908 IHP out of the box. BTW, the Blakesley effect is associated with clipped planchets, not cuds.

Nice CUD, Nice IH

Don't do anything at all to clean either of them.
No matter what people tell you about olive oil or the like, it is better to leave it as is.

on the 1908, there looks to be something on the back that may be a mintmark. Can you check and provide a close up pic?
