Need help replacing disc pot on Fisher cz5

Hi, I broke the stem off of the disc knob on my CZ5. Can anyone advise me on how to remove the control box lid to replace the pot. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don

Not familiar with the CZ, but it looks similar to my 1266.
The box is 1 piece, it does not come apart.
Remove the 2 screws next to the coil connector and you might have to remove the nut from the charger connector.
Everything should come out from the front.

Thanks very much for the info Deep 1. Now I have to get up enough courage to do it! I'd like to Deoxit the other pots when I get in there and clean the circuit board also. Not sure what to use to clean the board. Thanks again, Don

you could use alcohol and a natural fiber paint brush. By the time you put it back together, it should be dry.
