need help trashy coil for mx5?

What coil is good for trashy areas I dig a lot of old cellar holes I have about twenty lined up for spring just need permission on a couple more .I have permission for a 1700's school house to.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks .mark T.

4x6 is great for lots of nails and other trash, but will not go deep 6" or so.

5.3 Eclipse is good coil for tight spots and trashy areas. The CORS Shrew (6.5"x 3.5") or the CORS Point (5" round) are 2 other good choices and these are very well built coils.

I've used both the 4X6 and the 5.3 on the MXT. Both are good in trash, but the small footprint of the 4X6 makes it nearly surgical, but you do sacrifice some depth.

I have two small coils for my mx5 a Detech 5x10 SEF WSS works well and if I need something smaller I have a 7x4.5 Excelerator 11 pro, of course the 5x10 giver much greater depth.

Thanks for info. Still learning about the mx5 just got it in early dec .I got rid of my treasure master pro after about 2 months sent it back for recal. And it was still screwed up .do you like you mx5?

Yes, I like the lite weight and that my mxt pro and mx5 can use the same coils.
