Need help with a Japanese Chawan? (Tea Bowl)

Hello all, I came across this in a box of junk I bought in the shop, I know it's Japanese and I think it is a bowl for their Tea Ceremony but I Can not find any markings, not that that is rare but can anyone tell me anything else, Maker, Date, name of pattern? Thanks.

Unfortunately, not Japanese nor a tea bowl (chawan). Looks to be a North American planter c1990.
