✅ SOLVED Need help with brass object i.d

Found these two things and i can't figure out what they are.At first I was thinking some kind of adapter,possibly bayonet but they are too small plus they don't have the clamp one would have.But they still remind me of some kind of adapter?They are brass,with one small hole,and a single groove that spirals around the inside that meets with the hole?

Looks like a bushing for some kind of shaft, with the hole & groove to allow oil to lubricate. Just a WAG.
