Need help with this

Went across the street and found this about 6in down, it sounded off like a coin and kept on registering as a 50ct or 1dl piece.It sure was hard to find, almost didnt see it in the dirt. Found the main piece first,then the other 2 pieces in the hole.It almost looks like a ladies buckle. It's 1 1/2 in wide and light,maybe tin? Any suggestions?

That is what looks like a beautiful belt plate but what do I know.

from the styling and type oif design --to me its most likely a victorian era ladies belt buckle type item (1840's to 1900)--most likely had a lead filling type backing long ago --nice find
