need help

Its not much of a metal detector but it gets me out there! With the cheaper model detectors my dad always taught me to carry a gold coin and silver to assist me in dialing in my detector... Any other advice would be appreciated take a look at my nail finder and let know what might help

looks a nice machine mate I dont know much about bounty hunter apart from the fact they seem pretty popular machines with some good feedback, and they ve been around a while so cant be bad.That manual looks pretty good, so all I can say ,is read it through, test your machine out, and get in lots of practice,the more you use it the better itll get...good advice from your dad as well,sounds a smart guy...
