Hitting an area where CW action took place....finding lots of buttons and some CW bullets. Can anyone help with the id on either item pictured?

Top item in my hand could be horse related?? or maybe a Button cover? its small!. The bottom item I've seen before just can't remember what it is....

Bigfoot1 is on the money, with Second Item, it's the bit that goes through the Button Hole (You can just see where chain was attached in both Pics, also same for cufflinks)
