Thanks for looking. These are my First Ever.... I found these Friday in the same area (within a few hundred feet).. In Old oak forest, in a very tiny dried up creek, very near Chicago IL. .The black squarish rock was the first piece I found within 15 feet of the undamaged point...I would like to know the age and any names..I tried to Identify myself but having problems...Thanks for your Help...

First off, congratulations on your first ever finds. Not bad for first finds. As far as identifying them, the damaged ones won't be easy to ID and the whole one has a Hardin look to the base, but if it is it's a small one. Does the edges of the base feel smooth? That would mean it was ground and a trait of the Hardin Point.

Here's you a site to help you ID points. It's usually fairly accurate, though the distribution ranges are almost always off some.

Thanks, the base is sharp, and one side of the point is mostly flat and the other side is rounded..No grinded areas anywhere..
Thanks for the info.
