Found this back in the 1970's at my Grandmother house in a box she had. She had no idea what it was or where it came from. Any info would be great!

First of all I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! That is one of my favorite things I have ever seen on this site. Matt nailed it on the ID, and I'd guess prohibition era is exactly right on it.
