Found this at a local estate sale for 5.00. It looked interesting. Has no makers name or any other info. Has calibration numbers in 2 places. Measures 12" tall X 16" long with adjustable arm. Base is 6" wide.

I'm thinking the adjustable circular disk on the rod is intended to be used as a counter-balance weight. ?

Exactly right, counterweighted mount for either telescope or camera

Wow, thanks. I guess that was a good investment. I'll try to research it with the new information. Maybe I can find that exact one & throw it on Ebay. Hope it's enough for a new detector!
