NEED SOME HELP

I am looking into purchasing the fisher gold bug. This will be my 1st purchase of a metal detector. Any one that has or is using this model could provide some feedback wheather this is a good purchase for a 1st timer or not.
I live in utah and have done a lot of detector comparisons and this one model stands out to me. What are some pros and cons to this model. Thanks. K.J
