NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN, IS THIS SOME KIND OF CIVIL WAR GRENEADE?

NOT SURE WHAT IT IS, I WAS FOUND IN LOUISIANA IN A CIVIL WAR TRASH PIT,THATS THE ONLY THING I AM PRETTY SURE OF LOOKS LIKE IT HAS 2 SMALL HOLES ON TOP, IT HAS A SOMEWHAT FLAT BOTTOM AND IT WEIGHS 7LBS,11OZS. I DONT KNOW REALLY WHAT IT IS. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK

I was goig to say possible grenado until i saw it weighed 7 pounds

Its a solid 7 lbs, I cant find anything that I can say looks like it, other than some sort of bomb/grenade, I have seen that grenades weights were 6lbs, so 7 isn't that far off

Two holes,then it might not be a grenade.All the ones ive ever seen had one hole.Also the hole in a grenade had to be big enough to put the shrapnel in,lead balls,etc.Thinking about it the two holes remind me of a whale oil lamp i have.The lamp font has two holes,one for the wick,the other to fill it.It could be a lamp.
